BEFORE

On the 11th of December Tyler and I decided that Lyndon definatly needed a hair cut before we left for Utah to see all of our family. He did so well we sat him in the Bumbo put a towel around him and Tyler and I tried to cut his hair! Even though it may not be even, we still thinks it is better than it was before!

ONE MORE WEEK!

Okay, so everyone down here in Arizona( especially my husband!) keeps making fun of me because all I do is talk about Utah, but I can't help it! My family, the mountains at christmas time, and the beautiful Salt Lake Temple are just some of the many things that I miss about it. We only have one more week until we start our Journey to Utah and I am already planning everything. Tyler, and I have had a lot of fun down here in AZ especially the weather it' s been in the high 70's and we love it. We go on walks, leave our windows open, it's great ! But, these almost 9 moinths have been the most trying and gowing experience of my entire life! We both really did not know how much fmaily ment to us until we had no one around us. We just counted down for Lyndon to come not only because we were excited for him but, also because my mom and Jill were coming down! It was the best gift ever to see them. Then after they left we counted down the day's until Ryan, Mel and the girls were coming, we had a blast with them. I just feel comfortable in Utah it will always be home to me, It's what I compare everything in my life in AZ too. Arizona is great, the people we have met and the friends we have made are wonderful, just different from good ol' Utah! So everyone can laugh and think I'm silly but going to Utah this Christmas is going to be the best christmas present of all. If I was a little younger I would have one of those paper chains counting down the day's, but since I'm more mature:) I will just say ONE WEEK TILL UTAH!!

Chritmas Lights at the Mesa Temple

Monday night Tyler, Lyndon and I went with our friends Lacey, Blake and Raegan to see the Christmas Lights at the Mesa Temple. It was a lot of fun especially since it was 64 degrees outside with No Snow! It was kind of interesting because they only decorate one side of the temple unlike Temple Square in Utah but, there was a stage set up where everynight there are preformances! It was a fun night we were glad to get out and even Lyndon liked all the bright colors!

2 Months old!

Lyndon is TWO Months Old!

Our Little Lyndon turned 2 months old this wwek and we can hardly believe how fast time has flown. So much has changed since he came into our lives, and we are so grateful for him. It's funny we can hardly remember life without him. Lyndon is a joy to have in our home. We went for his two month checkup and found out he weighs 13 lbs. 9 oz. ( he weighed 8.1. at bitrth) so tha puts him in the 90 percentile. He is a happy healthy little boy. It was funny as soon as the doctor walked in Lyndon gave hima great big smile. The doctor said that is a very good sign he is developing very well. We did put him on Zantac for his Acid Reflux he wakes up crying because of it so hopefully this will help.He also had to get three shots. It was so sad I could hardly watch, luckily it was fast! We love our baby so much and we are so excited for the months ahead.

Chilly in Arizona

It's finally getting a little colder in AZ and we are loving it! In the day it's in the 70's and Lyndon and Ilove taking walks outside! At night and in the early morning's it gets really cold. Which is why Lyndon is wearing his cute little hat! Since I have to go to the doctors once a week, I take Ty to work early in the morning! We want Lyndon to stay asleep so we bundle him up really well and head out! It seems to be working so far other than his hat is a little to big so it always falls over his eyes , he doesn't mind and Tyler thinks it's adorable! We love our little guy!

Fall Pictures

Today, Tyler and I took Lyndon to park by our house for our anual fall pictures. Jill and Dave started this tradition when all their kids were young. Now, that we have our own little family it's fun to continue the tradition. It's great because even though a lot of the kids have moved away we all still take fall pictures, and it's a great way to see how we ll have chaned over the year!

Our Big Boy!

Yesterday, I took Lyndon to the doctors because he sounded really congested like he had a cold and he spits up a lot more than a normal baby should. Luckily it's nothing serious however, the docotor did say that they think the reason for eveything is that he is eating too fast and too much! Lyndon know weighs 12 lbs. 13 oz. which is big for a six week old baby just two weeks ago he was only 10.12. Because he hates the binki and likes to nurse to fall asleep he is stuffing his tummy too full and then he spits it up which then gets in his sinuses and makes him sound stuffy. So even though its hard if he has eaten already and still fussy we will be trying other methods to calm him down because he is definatly not starving:) These pictures are Lyndon thinking he is starving it's really funny one minute he is fine and the next it's like he realizes he's hungry and wants to eat NOW! We love our little guy!
