Our lives

Sorry everyone our computer is not working so I have not been able to update our blog!! Hopefully, we can get it fixed soon so I don't have to come to the library!! We are all doing great.
Tyler is in the thick of school and work and loving his classes! This week he was able to make himself a custom driver and he was really excited about that but it's not all play he is also taking an accounting class which leaves him with a lot of homework.
I am staying a to home still with Lyndon and loving it!! I am s little lonely Lyndon is sure fun but you can only talk to a 9 month old for SO long. We have been passing the time away by swimming and playing outside on our porch! I am hoping to get to know some more mom's in our ward with kids Lyndon's age and also hopefully start babysitting.
Lyndon, is doing great he will be 9 months on Sunday!! WOW, does time go by fast. I feel like I have a toddler rather than a baby. He has mastered standing by himself and I am sure walking is not too far behind!! He really is the funniest kid. When we ask him something he shakes his head no. It makes us laugh sooo hard when he does that but I know we are going to be in trouble down the road:) Lyndon, loves to read and he is now eating all "big" people food now!! Tyler is just happy we are now taking fishy's to church:)

Vampire?

Can you see his fangs? Our little boy has now turned into a vampire or at least that is what he looks like, Lyndon, two middle bottom teeth have come in and now his two top fang teeth ( or whatever the technical term is?) His two top middle teeth have been looking like they areabout to come in for a month or so now hopefully it will se sooner than later :) For now we will just enjoy the humor in his silly smile!

Suggestions?!

Lyndon, has a whole basket of toys that as you can see he drags all over the place but lately he has fixated on our t.v. cord!! We were really worried about his getting into things so we hooked all of our cords from the t.v. etc to a short extension cord and put it behind the Armoire where he can' t get it. However, this short little part sticks out because it's the only plug in our living room that works right and Lyndon loves it!! All day long I am pulling him away from it tyring to get him interested in something else but this kid loves cords. That' s what got him motivated to crawl because he wanted to get to the cord. He is such a funny guy he will look at me with this big grin and the charge over to the wall. We decided to put his bouncer in front of it but Lyndon is just tooo smart. He now just crawls under or behind the bouncer in order to get his favorite "Toy"! Tyler is so worried about him hurting himself, he is constantly tyring to find new way's to hide the cord or discourage Lyndon from going over there but nothing works!! I guess that's how we will get our exercise from now on :) I will do my sprints from the kitchen or bedroom to get Lyndon away from this cord!! Maybe someday it won't be so amusing to him!!

My New Walls!!

Okay, so I feel really bad that it has taken me so long to post this, but while Lyndon and I were in Utah Tyler painted some accent walls in or apartment! I have always told him that I wanted to paint, I can't stand white walls!! So while we were having fun with family Ty was painting !!I was so excited , and I absolutely love having some color in my home!! Didn't he do a great job!! I didn't take a picture of it but I have a big teapot and Plate on top of my Armoire that is this same color green so it look so nice!! Thanks again honey for doing such a great job , I really do love my new Living room and YOU!!!

8 Months old!!

Tommorow Lyndon turns 8 month old and he has become such a little man. Lately, he has discovered he can do a lot of things like pulling himself up to everything, crawling EVERYWHERE, and babbling like crazy. I was so excited to Lyndon to start moving and I still am, but my work has defiantly doubled :) We thought our home was baby proofed well we were wrong!!! From Doorstops with the white little tips to the trash can Lyndon keeps knocking over my job really is full time and I am loving every minute of it!
Did you notice his new hair cut?? We decided it was time to trim his sides and now that it's shorter we are doing it differently I think it makes him look so grown up!! With four teeth, a new haircut and standing up we really do have one wonderful little guy!!

Happy Mother's Day!!

On this Mother's Day Tyler and I wanted to recognize all the wonderful Mother's and Grandmother's in our lives. Of course there are MANY more woman in our lives aunts, sisters etc. who have effected our lives. Today Being my first Mother's day it really made me look back on these eight precious months we have had with Lyndon and realize how grateful I am to be Lyndon's mom. He truly is a blessing in my life. I am the mom I am because of the loving kindness and many teachings all these woman have so graciously shared with me. Tyler and I love you all and hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's day!!

Swimmimg!!

We took Lyndon swimming this week for the first time because it's been in the 100's everyday this week ! Lyndon had such a great time he just splashed and laughed and kicked his little legs! We are really enjoying him and how interactive he has become !! We have ended up taking him swimming three times this week and will hopefully, continue to for the rest of the summer, as long as my sun burn gets better:( I am the only one that got burnt well fried, It my shoulder's hurt soooo bad!! I will defiantly be putting sunscreen on me too next time!!:)
